WITH Wimbledon just around the corner, youngsters at Harvington First School were served up tasty healthy treats as part of a day of events.
Each class spent the day taking part in healthy living activities and all of the pupils got an opportunity to work with a tennis coach to learn and develop new skills.
The children also looked at how much sugar and fat were in different foods and drinks and went onto make their own healthy snacks such as fruit kebabs and smoothies.
PSHE co-ordinator Amy Kite, said: “All of the children had a fantastic day and were shocked at the amount of fats and sugars in some products so will hopefully consider future choices.”
