YOUNGSTERS from 20 south Worcestershire schools descended on The De Monfort School for a School Games Mark presentation.
School Games organiser Lisa Houghton organised the event and was on hand to present the schools with various awards.
Schools are invited to apply for the School Games Mark to show their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.
Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress.
“It was with great pleasure I was able to present schools with their awards with six achieving bronze, three silver and nine gold,” Mrs Houghton said.
“Two schools received the highest award of Platinum. Schools can only earn the Platinum after receiving Gold five years in a row.”
