APPLICATIONS for school places in Evesham and Pershore for September 2023 have now opened for children due to start school for the first time, or transitioning to a Middle or High School.
For children applying for a place at High school, the deadline to apply is the October 31. For Primary, First, Infant, Junior and Middle schools, parents will have until January 15, 2023.
Letters and guides on starting school or transitioning to a new school will be distributed by schools.
Coun Tracey Onslow, cabinet member for Education at Worcestershire County Council said: “Every child which has applied for a place, on time, will receive an offer of a school place, we would encourage parents to ensure the deadlines for admissions are met.”
Parents and carers can apply for their child’s school place via a secure online portal any time before 12midnight on the relevant deadline day.
