A SALUTE to brave men and women across the country was made at Wychavon District Council to mark Armed Forces Day tomorrow (Saturday).
Chairman of Wychavon District Council, Coun Robert Raphael, joined with councils and communities from across UK in raising the Armed Forces Day flag at the Civic Centre in Pershore.
“Raising the flag is a way of showing our support for the troops and their families,” he said.
“With people, communities and organisations across the country coming together, we hope it provides a much-needed morale boost to those who continue to keep us safe.”
