Safeguarding Children Partnership is increasing support given to families

Evesham Editorial 12th Dec, 2020   0

THE county’s Safeguarding Children Partnership is increasing the support it gives to families with babies born this year.

More than 4,600 babies have been born in Worcestershire since January 1.

County authorities say all of these families will have faced additional pressures brought about by the Covid restrictions.

In the first nine months of 2020 the Worcestershire Family Front Door service received 682 concerns relating to children under one year old, an increase of 36 per cent on the same period last year.
