TOP JOCKEYS and trainers are set to give tips and predictions at a hospice event ahead of the Cheltenham Festival week.
The Cheltenham preview evening, hosted by St Richard’s Hospice, will take place at The Wood Norton next Tuesday (March 5)
On the panel of experts will be Dr Richard Newland, trainer of the 2014 Grand National winner Pineau De Re, alongside jockeys Harry Skelton and Paddy Brennan.
Kelly Johns, fund-raiser at St Richard’s, said: “This is set to be a great event in the run-up to a prestigious festival.
“We’re inviting everyone along to enjoy a top-class evening of racing tips from our line-up of fantastic speakers. We hope to see you there!”
The preview evening is raising money to support the hospice’s free care to patients living with serious, progressive illnesses and their loved ones.
It includes a two-course meal, tea and coffee, and begins from 6.15pm. The event is sponsored by Gwillams Farm Shop. Tickets are priced at £35 per person.
