MORE than 100 years of dedicated work of the Royal British Legion (RBL) in supporting our Armed Forces community will be highlighted at this Thursday’s Pershore Heritage and History Society talk.
David Spencer who is the secretary of the Evesham Royal British Legion will be telling the story of the Royal British Legion which formed shortly after the ending of the First World War in 1921.
Last year the RBL led the nationwide commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
It takes place on Thursday, April 2 at 7pm at the Civic Centre off Station Road, Pershore.
All are welcome with admission for non-members is £3.
