A WATER search of the River Avon around Evesham continues today (Wednesday, February 25) to find a missing person.
West Mercia Search and Rescue confirmed at 10.32am that its specialist kayak teams were en route to the area to find a person deemed as “high risk”.
Yesterday, it announced around lunchtime that its specialist water teams were on a callout and searching the water.
It has not currently been confirmed who the team is looking for.
West Mercia Search and Rescue is a voluntary organisation that responds to emergencies alongside the police and fire & rescue service.
