Repair Cafe draws the crowds

Evesham Editorial 23rd Oct, 2014 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

THE POPULAR Repair Cafe event saw a good turnout of people at ImaGine, all in need of repairs for their much-loved items.

Local experts were on hand and among the items given a new lease of life were radios, a leaf blower, clothing items and a bicycle.

Refreshments and cakes from KT Catering were provided to those waiting their turn and the next Repair Cafe will be held between 10am and 2pm on November 8.

* Local musicians are invited to showcase their talent with an Open Mic session tomorrow (Saturday) from 2pm to 4pm at ImaGine.

A new weekly craft group kicks off on Wednesday (October 29) from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Local resident Veronica Saunders will be on hand to show visitors how to create their own handmade cards.

Each workshop will cost £2.50 and will include refreshments and materials.
