KIND-hearted volunteers from Relay For Life Evesham raised thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK as part of World Cancer Day.
Volunteers were out in force earlier this month to raise £4,411 through selling unity bands, holding bucket collections at Tesco stores in Evesham and Redditch, as well as street collections in Evesham.
This year Evesham Relay for Life is celebrating its 10th anniversary and since it began the event has raised £655,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Paul Baylis, Volunteer Event Chair for Relay For Life Evesham, said: “I would like to thank the kind generosity from everyone that gave, but also the volunteers for giving up time to help raise much needed funds for Cancer Research UK.”
