Relationship help is still out there

COUPLES struggling to cope with their relationship in the current coronavirus lockdown still have Relate Worcestershire to turn to, says the charity.

Even though counsellors have stopped face-to-face meetings with clients at their offices in Redditch, Bromsgrove and Worcester in the current pandemic, it has increased capacity to help via the telephone and webcam for anyone in need of their support.

Chief executive of Relate Worcestershire Maxine Sharman said: “The coronavirus outbreak is leading to big, immediate changes in our everyday lives and people are understandably very concerned.

“Our relationships will be hugely important for getting us through this but self-isolation, social distancing and concerns about issues like finances may also pile on the pressure.

“That’s why it’s vital to look after your relationships as this national crisis unfolds.

“For anyone who’s struggling, Relate’s highly trained counsellors are still ready to help via our telephone and web counselling services.”

People can arrange an appointment with a counsellor by ringing 01905 28051.
