The service said: “Think you’ve got what it takes to be a paramedic? We’ve got just the job opportunity for you.”

There are a total of 424 vacancies across Birmingham, Coventry, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Hereford-shire, the Black Country and Staffordshire.

WMAS recruitment manager Louise Jones said:

“If you’re ready for a change of career, have always had a passion for helping others, or if you’ve just finished studying and are finding the right career path for you, this could be it.

“For those looking for further information, we have a dedicated microsite about our student paramedic programme.

“This which includes everything you need to know about entry criteria, the application and assessment process as well as the training programme once you begin.
