Raid sees £17,000 worth of baby items stolen

A DEFFORD baby shop was targeted in a raid which saw £17,000 worth of stock stolen by heartless thieves.

Next Generation Pram and Nursery near was burgled between last Monday (June 1) between 6pm and 7am the following day (Tuesday).

Several prams and car seats where removed and a multitude of other baby clothes, bibs and toys where also taken.

Amongst the items taken was a rare car seat called a Britax Trifix Black Edition which retails at £900.




The whereabouts of this car seat is of interest as only 10 of these are in the UK as it has a carbon fibre frame and leather seat.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 0079s 020615 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
