CREATIVE youngsters across Evesham and Pershore could win the chance to have their work displayed in an exhibition as part of a visual arts competition.
Visualize, a competition for 11 to 18-year-olds, will return for another year and Wychavon District Council is encouraging young people from the district to enter.
The theme will be ‘Through the Looking Glass; what does our future look like?’ and entries are welcomed in a range of 2D media including photography, painting, drawing, mixed media and street art.
Lucky finalists will get to see their work exhibited at Pershore’s Number 8 Community Arts Centre in January
Jenny Davis, arts development officer, said: “I’m excited this project is returning for young people to showcase their visual art work. It was great to see the local talent of the district last year at such a prestigious venue as Number 8 Community Arts Centre where hundreds of people saw their work”.
The deadline for entries is at 5pm on Monday, December 10. E-mail [email protected] or call 01386 565396 for more.
