THIEVES struck twice in just two hours when they stole purses from two unsuspecting victims in Evesham.
Both incidents happened on the High Street on Monday (July 24).
At about 11.45am a woman was approaching the till in a shop and looked down at her shopping trolley and saw the zip compartment was open and her purse was missing.
Then, sometime between 10.45am and 12.30pm, thieves stole a blue purse from a zipped up handbag. The purse contained bank cards, store cards and some cash.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incidents is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101. The incident number for the first theft is 0550S and 0306S for the second.
