A SCHOOL in Evesham has helped raise over £4,000 thanks to its Children in Need Welly Walk.
St Andrew’s Church of England School and Nursery is proud to announce their walk, held on Friday (November 15), raised an ‘incredible £4,088.12 for the BBC Children in Need charity.
Pupils and staff came together to participate in the sponsored event, which saw participants don their wellington boots and take to the trails around the school’s grounds and in the local area.

The walk was said to be a huge success, with an impressive number of donations pouring in from supporters across the local area, in the spirit of community and charity.
Staff members, Katie Doctor and Kelly Instone, who arranged the Welly Walk, expressed immense pride in the event’s success.
A spokesperson for the school said: “We are thrilled with the amount raised this year and incredibly grateful to everyone who took part or supported the walk in any way.
“It’s heartwarming to see our school community come together to raise such a substantial amount for a worthy cause.
“In addition to fostering a sense of teamwork and physical activity among pupils, the Welly Walk built a spirit of giving and community service.”
