A PUBLIC meeting is being held in Pershore on major plans for a new community hall in the town.
For the past few months the Town Council has been looking into options for a new hall following the loss of St Agatha’s Hall some years ago and the imminent loss of another hall.
Council chiefs are looking into the option as no other venue in the town can host large groups.
Two options have been explored and now council chiefs are putting the plans to the public to see if residents believe there is a need for a community hall and where it should be built.
Residents will be able to have their say at a public meeting this Tuesday at 7pm in the Town Hall to hear about these options and make their views known to the Town Council.
Questionnaires will also be made available at locations across the town for residents unable to attend the meeting. Residents can also submit their views via the Town Council’s website www.pershoretowncouncil.gov.uk.
