A PROLIFIC shoplifter has been arrested in Evesham Town Centre, thanks to quick work from the town’s police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
The man was held on Tuesday and charged with six thefts. No action is being taken against him over a public order offence which he was initially arrested for.
He was remanded in police custody and appeared in court.
He was also issued with a Community Protection Notice to put further conditions on him to try and deter him from acting in an anti-social manner in the town centre.

He was also charged with the offence and has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.
He has been remanded in custody as he was also wanted on prison recall.
