Proceeds from history talk will go to charity

A TALK detailing the history of a beautiful Victorian theatre will be hosted in Evesham later this month to raise money for charity.

The illustrated presentation will explore Cheltenham’s wonderful Everyman Theatre is organised by Viv Jones in support of Christian Aid Week.

It will be hosted at Evesham Methodist Church by Cheltenham Everyman Theatre employee, Caro Day, from 7pm on Saturday, May 18.

There will also be a themed quiz and a raffle with prizes all donated by friends and local businesses. Attendees can enjoy a snack buffet and refreshments.

Prizes for the quiz and raffle include vouchers for local restaurants, tickets to see Life of Pi at Cheltenham Everyman, a family ticket for the Stratford Butterfly Farm, and a similar pass for the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway.

Proceeds from the event will go directly to Christian Aid.
