BUDDING musicians from Prince Henry’s High School will be embarking on a European music tour to Italy.
It will be the school’s fifth tour and this year Director of Music, Phil Bullas, and 58 music students will head to Lake Garda next month for a week of concerts, performances and sightseeing.
They will be performing on six occasions to members of the public, with the highlight of the tour being the opportunity to sing for Mass in Europe’s most iconic religious places including St Mark’s Basilica in Venice and Verona Cathedral.
The finale of the tour will be the students’ visit to the open air opera in Verona where they will watch a performance of Verdi’s opera ‘Aida.’
