LEUKAEMIA Care has said a big thank you to a group of county singers who raised cash for them at last year’s Victorian Fayre in Worcester
The Vale Harmony A Cappella Men’s Chorus sang at two locations during the Fayre, encouraging the watching public to donate a total of £236 to the charity.
Mikki Camfield, fund raising officer from the charity, presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the chorus at their first rehearsal of the New Year at Fladbury village hall last week.
“We raised more money that day than any other charity and that’s thanks to the singing talent and determination of Vale Harmony,” said Mikki. “The weather was awful but they entertained the public brilliantly. We’re very grateful for their support.
