A POPULAR Evesham cafe could be crowned the ‘Best Worcestershire Independent Café’ after being shortlisted for the award.
Word of Mouth Café, which has been based in the town for the past 14 years, is a finalist at the What’s On Readers’ Awards 2017.
Standing in the way of the Vine Street Café winning the award are four other finalists which includes Coffee No.1 in Pershore, G&Tea Worcester, Lorita’s Bakehouse in Bromsgrove and Mac & Jac’s Cafe-Deli in Worcester.
The café featured on the BBC’s ‘The Hairy Bikers Show’ back in January and last year Word of Mouth was awarded a ‘Healthier Choices Food Award’.
Owner Louise Roberts said: “We are delighted and really excited to be nominated as a finalist in the What’s On Readers’ 2017 awards for best independent cafe in Worcestershire.
“I have an amazing team here and this nomination is testament to their hard work, loyalty and passion for all that we do.
