FOLLOWING the success of last year’s inaugural event the Badsey Soapbox Races will be returning this month.
Organisers have confirmed racing will return to the village’s streets on Sunday, August 27 and residents still have time to enter their soapboxes.
The free event will see daring cart drivers attempt to navigate the 800 metre course which starts on Knowle Hill and ends on the bridge over Badsey Brook.
Badsey and Aldington Parish Council and a number of local businesses sponsor the popular event to help make it possible.
