TAILS will be wagging for charity at The Valley’s annual Christmas Dog Parade in aid of Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue

Now in its fourth year, this year’s event will take place on Sunday, December 15 with all money raised from ticket sales going towards the cause.

The charity looks after these dogs ready for rehoming and was set up by Pip Singleton in 1989 who began rescuing greyhounds and lurchers and bringing them into her home.

Four-legged friends and their owners are being invited to take a walk around The Valley’s shopping mall in their Christmas finery to the sound of Christmas music.

Fiona Spear, senior marketing manager at The Valley, said: “Our pups and their owners never fail to impress us with their funky festive outfits.

“From pugs in blankets to dachshunds through the snow, the event attracts both dog and non-dog owners and makes for a particularly fun and entertaining day for everyone.

Admission is £5 per pup and non dog owners can enjoy the fun too.
