POLICE officers investigating a hit and run in Evesham have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
It is believed the man in the image may have information that could help officers with their investigation.
The collision happened around 11.05am on Thursday (March 21) on Bridge Street near to Workman Bridge. A 73-year-old woman, who was crossing the road, was struck by a grey Ford Kuga which then failed to stop.
The woman was taken to hospital, where she remains with life-threatening injuries.
Det Insp Ollie Moore, said: “We are really keen to speak to the man in the CCTV image as we believe he may have key information that could help with our investigation into the incident.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who was in Bridge Street around the time of the collision on Thursday morning who may have seen, or may have dashcam footage, of the Kuga.”
Two men, aged 32 and 51, who were arrested in connection with the incident have been released on police bail.
