QUICK-ACTING police officers in Evesham were able to recover a stolen vehicle shortly after it was stolen.
West Mercia Police said the successful recovery was thanks to the neighbourhood matters messaging system that the stolen vehicle was spotted by a member of the public and police were able to get it back for the owner.
The eagle-eyed spotters had seen a message on neighbourhoodmatters.co.uk and called officers and let them know where it was parked.
This car has now been recovered and is awaiting forensic examination by the CSI team.
Evesham Police Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “By working together we can continue to help prevent and detect crime.”
