A CAR has been broken into in Evesham overnight prompting a police appeal for information.

Last night, between Sunday (April 6) and Monday (April 7), a blue Ford C-Max Zetec – with the registration plate YS63 WMM – was broken into on Pippins Court, Waterside, Evesham.

It is understood that nothing was stolen but the vehicle was damaged.

A spokesperson for the force said: “There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property – where possible remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended.”
