RESIDENTS are being reminded to ensure they choose the right NHS service if they become injured or unwell over Christmas and new year.
Some GP practices will have limited opening times throughout the festive season but there are other options, such as local pharmacies with fully-trained medical staff.
Minor ailments, such as coughs and colds, tummy troubles and more can be dealt with at the pharmacy.
On Christmas Eve, there are no changes to the pharmacies’ usual opening times apart from Morrisons in Evesham which is open from 9am to 1pm and then from 2pm to 7pm.
On Boxing Day, Morrisons in Evesham is open from 10am to 4pm.
The Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Evesham Community Hospital is open from 9am to 9pm every day.
