PERSHORE welcomed a group of visitors from their twin town Bad Neustadt over the weekend of Midsummer Brass.
The group stayed with host families in and around Pershore and enjoyed a varied programme of visits including Stratford and Worcester, where they had guided tours of places of interest.
The highlight of the visit was Midsummer Brass as they were able to wander around a wide variety of venues listening to all different types of brass band music, culminating in the concert at Pershore Abbey.
A town twinning spokesman said: “Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time here and we are looking forward to seeing old friends and new from Bad Neustadt next year when we will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Twinning Charter being signed.”
Anyone interested in taking part in twinning with Bad Neustadt or Pershore’s other twin town of Plouay in France can call the town clerk for more information on 01386 561561.
