A PERSHORE teacher is preparing to saddle up to cycle from London to Paris in the hope of raising hundreds of pounds for charity.
Keith Walden, Head of Performing Arts at Pershore High School, will be cycling the 320km route in just 24 hours.
The kind hearted man will be setting off from Greenwich Observatory at 3pm on Saturday, April 29 before heading to Newhaven to catch an overnight ferry to Dieppe.
If everything goes to plan Keith hopes to arrive at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in the French capital by 3pm the following day.
Keith is undertaking the challenge to raise funds for Onside, a charity that aims to make a difference to the lives of people in Herefordshire and Worcestershire by providing advocacy services to support vulnerable adults.
