Pershore Round Table rock the town's carnival

MEMBERS of the newly formed Pershore Round Table rocked the town when their 1980’s themed float took to the streets as part of the carnival parade.

The group entered their first float display in last month’s Pershore Carnival parade in a bid to raise awareness among local residents.

Pershore Round Table is hoping to bring the Round Table Santa Sleigh to the town following its success in Evesham which has seen more than £6,000 raised for local charities.

Pershore Round Table chairman Ian Thorner, said: “We were really delighted to be part of the carnival. It was great to give the town a float that was different and something to remember us by. I think we really did rock the town.”

Town men aged from 18 to 45 are eligible to become members.
