PERSHORE Round Table is searching for new members to help organise and run its action-packed series of events for the year ahead.
Ranging from raft racing and go karting to curry and pool nights, the newly-formed Pershore Round Table is looking for men aged between 18 and 45, who want to ‘do more’ in life.
The team hope to support the town’s community and local charities through fund-raising events, such as Santa’s sleigh, which took place during the Pershore Carnival Fun Run last December.
Founded in 1927, the Round Table was set up across the UK to help support local communities and is described by many members as the greatest young men’s club in the world.
Ian Thorner, chairman of Pershore Round Table, said: “It was great to see children’s faces light up when they saw Santa on his sleigh. We look forward to raising our profile and doing a lot more for Pershore in the years to come.”
