PERSHORE MP Harriett Baldwin has thanked town residents who attended a Question Time event at the Riverside Centre.
The MP fielded questions from local people on a wide range of topics. Among the issues discussed during the hour-long session was the local NHS, rural crime, house-building and local transport.
Alongside regular surgery sessions, Mrs Baldwin hosts the Meet Your MP events held in public venues across the constituency.
She said:
“I am grateful that people braved the cold weather to come out to question me and share their views.
“It is always useful to hear the opinions of my constituents and I find it heartening that we are able to debate matters of local and national concern in a calm and respectful way.
“I try to be as accessible as possible and I have had lots of positive feedback from these events.
“In my role as Member of Parliament I represent all the people in the constituency and I hope those people who took the time to attend felt their views had been expressed and heard.”
