Pershore High School scoops top award

PERSHORE High School scooped a top gong at this year’s Chamber Business Awards.

The Station Road school won the Education and Business Partnership award at the glitzy ceremony at Worcester Arena last Thursday which was organised by the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.

Headteacher Clive Corbett said: “All associated with Pershore High School are delighted at winning the Education and Business Partnership Award.

“It is a fitting accolade for the work of Jacqueline French-Griffin, Helen Airdrie, Rachel Kilmister, Julie Taylor and so many more of our wonderful staff.”

Sharon Smith, Chief Executive of Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, said: “Another spectacular event celebrating the amazing growth, expertise and innovation of businesses in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

“It was brilliant to welcome 570 key business people for an evening of entertainment, networking and celebration. Congratulations to all the winners.”
