THIS year’s Pershore Carnival will take place on the Spring Bank Holiday Monday, May 27, and be on the theme ‘Fairytales’.
The event will raise funds for the Pershore Warhorse Memorial Project.
On learning of the Carnival Committee’s unanimous decision to support her project, Sue Cosnett said “I am humbled that Carnival is doing this for me.
“I grew up in Pershore and have always supported the Carnival.
“I was on floats in the procession as a child and I have continued to enjoy the event every year.
“Thank you all so much.”
Steve Cooper, another local resident and supporter of Pershore Carnival, has a stall at the Carnival again this year and will be working on parts of the warhorse sculpture at this year’s event.
