HUNDREDS flocked to The Valley for a farm-themed launch party to mark the official opening of the summer attraction.
The main attraction of the day was the special appearance of Peppa Pig as she waved to everyone whilst pink confetti showered the crowd and children’s faces filled with joy as they saw one of their favourite television characters.
Peppa Pig was joined by a live country band as well as giant sheep and farmer characters who sprinkled the day with farm-tastic magic.
The theme was the perfect accompaniment to this year’s giant sandpit which sits alongside a backdrop of a purpose-built wooden tractor.
Plenty of family fun was enjoyed in The Tractor Shed with pop-up soft play and games including indoor bouncy castles, go-karting and hook-a-duck. The Tractor Shed is helping to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice in Worcester throughout the summer holidays.
Fiona Spear, retail marketing manager at The Valley said: “Peppa Pig was a huge draw for little ones and their families.
“It was wonderful to see grandparents, parents and children with smiles on their faces whilst enjoying a great family day out.
“We welcomed visitors from across the UK including Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and Birmingham.”
The beach and The Tractor Shed is open daily until August 31 from 10am until 4:30pm.
