PEOPLE who live or work in Worcestershire and use the local pharmacy services are being urged too have their say on how they would like to see them operate in the future.
Every local authority, including Worcestershire, has a Health and Wellbeing Board (HWBB), which brings together public health, NHS, local government and other partners.
The board is aimed at improving the wellbeing of residents by developing an understanding of the health needs of local communities and reduce health inequalities – avoidable, unfair differences in the health between different groups of people.
Worcestershire County Council is conducting a survey, known as the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment to better understand local opinions of the pharmacy services currently available in the county.
Dr Kathryn Cobain, Director of Public Health in Worcestershire said: “I urge you to take part in this survey and help us to understand whether our pharmacy services in Worcestershire meet your needs.
“It’s important that we gather your views and experiences so that we can make sure that the county’s pharmacy provision meets the needs of local residents for the future.
“Thank you for helping us improve services.”
People can fill in the survey here.
The deadline for entries is Friday, December 31.
