WORCESTERSHIRE’S long-serving wicketkeeper Ben Cox has been awarded a testimonial year as a reward for 13 years of loyal service and fantastic performances for the club.
To get the year off to a flying start his testimonial committee is holding an opening dinner which will take place in the Graeme Hick Pavilion at Worcestershire CCC on Friday, February 24 (7pm for 7.30pm start).
The theme for the night will be Ben’s debut match against Somerset in 2009 when he was plucked from Bromsgrove School to make his first class debut for the county at the age of just 17. The event will feature many of his team mates from that game.
Tickets cost £60 per person or £550 for a table of 10 and include a three course meal, guest speakers, live music, games and an auction.
