CELEBRATIONS have been held at Harvington First School after Government inspectors declared it outstanding in all areas.
Ofsted recognised pupils at the Village Street school benefit from ‘exceptional educational experiences’ ensuring high standards in the quality of education provided.
Leaders are determined all pupils reach their full potential and have designed a curriculum which ensures this vision is realised, according to the report.
Inspectors also praised the ‘inspirational’ leadership, the ‘calm, orderly and purposeful place for pupils to learn’ and the partnership between staff, governors, pupils and their families to deliver the ‘very best education and care for all’.
Ofsted recognised all children are extremely well prepared for the next stages of their education.
Chair of Governors, Dr Chris Davies, said: “This well-deserved report reflects the hard work and dedication shown daily by every member of staff, the positive attitudes and commitment shown by pupils and the dynamic and effective leadership of the leadership team.
“Governors are proud to be associated with this school and will support the school in continuing to thrive.”
