AN OPERATION is taking place in Pershore today to combat and prevent anti-social behaviour.
West Mercia Police said ASB came in many forms and it was part of the safer neighbourhood team’s (SNT) role to address it.
As part of Operation Forefront, officers have been out and about in communities, engaging with local residents of all ages, members of the public and local businesses.
A force spokesperson said: “We are always doing our best to re-educate individuals and groups who can be involved with ASB and we work closely with other agencies, schools, local councils, businesses, residents to keep our communities a nice place to live.”
And they appealed to people for their help.
“You really are our eyes and ears and any police reports are always encouraged by us so we can deal with anti-social behaviour as best as we possibly can.
“We always appreciate your time.”
He added anyone who had witnessed anti-social behaviour or had any information relating to unruly antics to report it using the ‘Tell Us About It’ form at westmercia.police.uk or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
