ON-CALL firefighters are being sought for Pershore Fire Station.
People, who are over 18 and live or work within five minutes of the station, are invited to join current crew for a brew to find out more about the role.
On-call firefighters can earn up to between £6,000 and £8,000-a-year, sometimes more.
All Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service stations have an on-call fire engine, crewed by a dedicated team of women and men who live or work in the area and respond to emergency calls when needed.
A HWFRS spokesperson said: “We are always looking to recruit enthusiastic applicants from all walks of life.
“The most important qualifications are common sense, compassion, commitment, discretion and teamwork.”
