AN OFFICE building with potential at the heart of Evesham town centre is coming up for auction next month.

The Signal House, Evesham Railway Station, High Street, is among 134 lots in the latest auction being held by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

It is offered with a freehold guide price of £220,000-plus at the firm’s auction which ends on Wednesday, November 1.

The premises is the former Midland Railway Station. Today it is no longer a station but its railway connections are remembered in its current name of The Signal House.

Accommodation includes an entrance/reception area, separate office, three walk-through open office areas, kitchen and ladies and gents toilet. There are five parking spaces.

Senior Auction Appraiser Audrey Smith said: “This is a rare opportunity to acquire a spacious single-story detached building with parking for five vehicles.

“It is located opposite Evesham Railway Station, just off the High Street and gives easy access to rail networks and local amenities.

“The property is likely to be of interest to those looking for a unique property for office/retail use or others who may consider sub-division or change of use to residential, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.”
