POLICE have made a further appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A46 in Evesham on Saturday (July 27) in which a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision happened at around 5.30pm when a black BMW 330D Sport collided with a hedgerow on the A46, near to the junction for Badsey Road.
Despite efforts from emergency services a man, aged 39, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers investigating the incident are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a silver BMW 5 Series, which is believed to have been travelling in convoy with the black BMW, around Norton village shortly before the collision.
Sergeant Liam Bennett, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit South, said: “We are continuing to appeal for anybody else who may have seen the collision, or been in the area before it happened, and may have seen the black BMW or the silver BMW to please get in touch.
“I would also like to thank everybody who has already contacted us with what they saw that afternoon, and the people who have shared dash-cam footage with us.
“I would continue to ask that if you were in the area at the time of the collision, to please share your dash-cam footage with us, so we can gather as much information as possible to help with our investigation.”
Three men, aged 29, 34 and 36, who were arrested in connection with the collision have been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
