EVESHAM families are in for a spectacular fright at the town’s library’s Halloween workshop.

Evesham Library is hosting a special effects makeup workshop on Tuesday (October 27), as part of a week of spooky festivities.

Families can also learn about Vale ghost stories and legends on Wednesday (October 28) at the library.

AN ACCLAIMED gardener is heading to Bishampton to share his knowledge on all things green.

Well-known TV presenter Chris Beardshaw, will share his rich and enthusiastic expertise for horticulture on Wednesday November, 4 at Bishampton’s Village Hall.

CROOME is inviting residents to its spooky spectacular Halloween celebrations.

Children can take part in a witch and wizard Halloween trail, pumpkin carving, face painting and fancy dress at the National Trust site from tomorrow (Saturday) to Sunday (November 1).

The event runs from 10am to 4pm each day and costs £2 per pumpkin and £1.50 per trail.

GREENJJAM Nursery from Badsey are giving a talk “Putting Your Garden To Bed for Winter ” on behalf of Signpost in Broadway.

The talk will be held tonight (Friday) at 7.30pm at The United Reformed Church on the High Street, Broadway.

GreenJJam will be giving advice and practical tips on how to prepare your garden for winter and there will be plants for sale.

Signpost is a voluntary charity which offers help and information to residents of Broadway and the surrounding villages.

The cost of the event is £5 including light refreshments.
