A CASH windfall of £135,000 has been shared out between 39 different local community groups by bosses at Tesco in Evesham in the past three years.

The money has been made possible from the supermarket giant’s Bags of Help scheme which sees cash from the sale of plastic bags collected and shared with three local causes every two month.

The present three groups awaiting the public vote, by posting the blue tokens, are Offenham First School, Elmley Castle Cricket Club and Sense – a Malvern sensory garden project.
