Holly Davies is the new town councillor for Pershore following a by-election last Thursday (September 25).
Former publican Holly, stood on a Liberal Democrat ticket and was elected on 435 votes.
She beat the only other person on the ballot, Paul Wallis (Reform UK) by 262 votes.

The electorate was 3169 which equates to a turnout of 19.2 per cent.
Holly attended local schools and until recently ran the Miller’s Arms in Bridge Street.
Before the election she said: “I’m really excited to be running in this by-election to potentially join a team known for their hard work. As a resident of St Andrews, I want to make sure our town has the representation it deserves.
“I’ve worked locally for my entire career and know how important our high street is for many of us who don’t drive.
“I’m looking forward to working with fellow councillors to support local businesses and ensure residents can access what they need, when they need it.”
The cost of a by-election is paid for by the town council at a cost of £5,323 to the tax payer.
