Supermarket giant Aldi is on the hunt for recruits for a new store that is due to open in the Pershore area later this year.
Aldi Pershore, which will open in King George’s Way is searching for 18 full-time and part-time people to fill the positions of deputy store managers, store assistants, and cleaner.
The 1,315sqm centrally-located store is being built on the historic old Pershore Market site next to Pershore Town Football Club.
It will have more than 100 parking spaces including blue badge bays and electric vehicle charging points.
Prior to submitting planning application in 2023, Simon Glover, real estate director at Aldi, said: “The store will create new jobs and improve local shopping choices, offering high quality, great value products in a suitable town centre location.
The development represents a £5 million investment from the company which prides itself on being the UK’s cheapest grocery brand.
