A MAN has died in a crash in Honeybourne on Friday evening.
A Honda motorbike and a car – a Nissan Leaf – collided on Sheenhill Road around 7pm.
Two ambulances, two paramedic officers and two MARS BASICS doctors responded.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was in a critical condition being given CPR by bystanders.
Ambulance staff quickly took over resuscitation efforts but sadly nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead a short time later on scene.
Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle in the moments before, to please get in contact.
Insp Col Robinson from the Operation Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who sadly lost his life on Friday.
“We would like to hear from anyone who saw anything which might assist with enquiries.”
