MEMBERS of Evesham Rugby Club scrummed down for a good cause and converted their efforts into £1,000 for a major cancer charity.
First team members held a range of fund-raising events to collect cash for Cancer Research and presented the cheque to David Garrett on behalf of the charity following Saturdays’ triumph over Berkswell and Balsall.
Captain Nathan Chambers and vice captain Sam Huckvale were on hand to present the cash and were joined by the rest of the first team squad for the handover.
