AN HISTORIC Bretforton pub is once again toasting success with two more honours.
The Fleece Inn has continued its winning tradition after the Good Pub Guide named the 600-year-old National Trust pub in its Top 10 Country Pubs, selected for a venue’s friendly welcome after a walk, a roaring log fire, comfortable seats in homely surroundings, warming food and a thoughtful choice of drinks.
The pub has also won the Best Pub with Rooms in the Cotswolds honour at the Cotswolds Awards.
Landlord Nigel Smith paid tribute to his staff for their hard work to showcase the historic building to visitors from the Vale and further afield.
“These awards are testament to that hard work and I must applaud and thank my amazing team for everything they do,” he said
